Gee, I wonder if Photoshop was involved here

Kelly Clarkson was supposed to lose weight for her Vitamin Water ad campaign but it looks like that may not have happened in time. Of course, I don't know when the bikini pictures were taken, but regardless, my guess is that there was some serious Photoshopping done for these ads.

Jennifer Aniston to star in Nike ads

Jennifer Aniston is rumored to be teaming up with Nike for an international ad campaign. The actress will reportedly have control over all the charity dollars involved, and plans to donate the money to cancer research. It sounds like she may even convince them to get Sheryl Crow, her friend and a cancer survivor, involved. She didn't seem to natural choice to me at first, considering she's not an actual athlete, but now that I think of it, it makes sense. She's in great shape.

Bonus weekend post: the iGallop

Igallop

So from what I understand, this is actually a piece of exercise equipment, perhaps the most ridiculous piece of exercise equipment yet. Whoever had the gumption to follow through on this idea, I commend them. Designed to simulate the muscle activity engaged during horseback riding, the OSIM iGallop promises to "tone" your core, hips, butt and thighs. Originally released in Singapore and Hong Kong with a creepy, overly-suggestive television commerical (see below), I bet this thing can write its own Brokeback Mountain jokes. Do you think a celebrity will be willing to endorse this? Get Jake Gyllenhaal's agent on the line!

The product is available from Brookstone for $599.

Products: Celebrity weight scale

Celebrityweightscale Ever wanted to wake up in the morning and know how your weight compared to that of your favorite celebrity? Hm? Yes? I THOUGHT so. Well, now you can, thanks to Angry. The Celebrity Weighing Scale lets you compare yourself to celebrities, historical and fictional characters, including King Kong, Mister Ed, Roseanne, Baby Jesus, and Goldie Hawn. I can't say for sure whether Nicole Richie is included, so don't get your hopes up.

Carmen Electra sells diet pills

Carmenelectra Carmen Electra has signed on as the new spokesperson for NV, a "beauty-enhancing weight loss pill". Let me guess: it's got hoodia, green tea extract and some sort of stimulant like caffeine in it. Yep. Let me guess again: it promises to help you lose weight quickly, improve your skin and give you that energy "boost" you've been lacking. Yep again. Well, as long as people will continue to believe that a pill might help them look more like a thin, beautiful celebrity with an amazing body, they're in business.
