Mischa Barton's cellulite fails to magically disappear as she ages

Mischabartoncellulite

Aaaaaaannnnd ... we're back.

So. Hi. It's been awhile. And WTF? I go away for a year fully expecting Mischa Barton's cellulite to be cured, but no! It's still there. But now, thanks to some very kind paparazzo, she's finally aware of it. Which means she has to deny it by BLAMING THE PHOTOGRAPHER. OK, honey. I know it's tempting. I mean, I secretly blame my dad, my mom and my boyfriend for making me look fat in certain photographs of me, but to make a statement that someone deliberately Photoshopped cellulite onto your thighs in a picture is, well ... paranoid. Or desperate.

What do you think, dear reader? Were these candid photos of Mischa in a bikini doctored, or do they simply reveal the truth about a genetically unfortunate girl as her body ages? Compare to previous Mischa Barton cellulite pictures here.

Tyra Banks in all her glory

Tyra

Tyra looks great ten years later. Yes, there's some Photoshopping involved, and no, she's not exactly a "supermodel" anymore, but I still love this crazy gal for her guts and beauty. Go Tyra!

Those gorgeous Brits

Winslet Emma Beckinsale

Kate Winslet may be airbrushed after all. Either way, she looks fabulous. Emma Thompson gets hotter with age, while Kate Beckinsale should take a cue from Victoria Beckham and lose the scalp-exposing extensions.

Celebrities love Photoshop revisited

Uma Thurman, Demi Moore, Elizabeth Hurley, Daniel Craig, Sharon Stone, Brad Pitt and George Clooney. All actors of a certain age getting paid big bucks to promote products to consumers of a certain age. And Photoshop is there to help.

Beauty truth, truth beauty?

If you haven't seen this yet, you really should. It's a Dove ad called "Evolution". We all know there's magic in hair, makeup, lighting and Photoshop, but this demonstrates just how extreme the illusion is.

Gee, I wonder if Photoshop was involved here

Kelly Clarkson was supposed to lose weight for her Vitamin Water ad campaign but it looks like that may not have happened in time. Of course, I don't know when the bikini pictures were taken, but regardless, my guess is that there was some serious Photoshopping done for these ads.

Covergirl: Fergie

Fergie_shape

Fergie is on the cover of Shape magazine's October issue and the Photoshoppers worked overtime. Her workout secret? Meth! No, I'm just kidding.

Rosie O'Donnell isn't that thin either

Rosieodonnelltheview

Rosie O'Donnell is the latest victim of an overzealous photo retoucher, with an ABC promotional picture of her and her "The View" co-stars showing her shrunk down to match their sizes. In reality, she is much heavier than she appears in the image above. O'Donnell has pointed out the doctored photo herself, and has also stated that she has been asked to grow her hair long for the show so as not to appear "too gay." Good luck with that, Rosie.

Katie Couric isn't that thin

Katiecouricphotoshop

Everyone's talking about it. CBS Photoshopped a picture of Katie Couric from a Carnegie Hall appearance in May and printed it in their magazine Watch. The article accompanying the story was part of the publicity surrounding Couric's move to CBS to become the first female solo anchor of a network nightly news program. CBS claims that neither management nor Couric were aware that the magazine staff had "retouched the photo". When asked for her reaction Couric answered the best any 49-year-old woman could: "There's more of me to love."

Wow, Jessica Simpson got fat!

Jessicasimpsonfat

OK, so that's not really real. The Velvet Hottub has Photoshopped "What if they were fat?' pictures of Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera. From Worth 1000.

Victoria Beckham's behind is Photoshopped

Victoriabeckhambehind_1

A recent fragrance ad featuring Victoria and David Beckham looks suspiciously "enhanced", given what we've seen of Posh Spice's assless figure lately. I wonder ... does Becks like it better this way? I hope he's still feeding her those carbs!

Supermodels show their age

With some daring lighting and minimal Photoshopping, Rachel Hunter, Christie Brinkley, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Cheryl Tiegs and others are photographed in W Magazine looking very "real". Call me crazy, but I actually think they look especially attractive in these shots, specifically because of the verite style. OK, maybe Cheryl Tiegs could have used a little more Photoshop.

Photoshopped celebrities

Ca_photoshop

We all know the power of Photoshop: it can remove wrinkles, imperfections, even unwanted people from your photographs. It is a celebrity's best friend, making her look thin and shapely, with perfectly smooth, unblemished skin and thick, glossy hair. No pimples, no fat rolls, no errant hairs or bloodshot eyes. Check out some powerful "before and after" shots at Faded Youth. In my opinion, these Photoshopping jobs go too far; the final result looks very unnatural. Call me crazy, but I'd prefer to see a few of John Cusack's pores.
