ZOMBIES. Between this and Will Smith filming an evacuation of a zombie-infested Manhattan right outside my window here at work, I am really getting my zombie movie fix here (for those of you who don't know, I am a zombie film fanatic). So apparently Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig are filming a zombie movie in Los Angeles and the stunt truck that was towing her car for a shot went out of control and her car hit a lamppost. The actress was not seriously injured, but she along with several others were taken to the hospital.

Uma is fiming 'The Accidental Husband' in New York with Colin Firth, and supposedly fell on her hand while jumping to reach something. Arnie was skiing in Sun Valley when he fell and broke his right thigh bone. Norton fell from a horse while filming The Painted Veil in China with Naomi Watts and didn't find out right away that he had broken three vertebrae. Ouch. The good news now is that he's all better now and able to promote the film, which opens this week.

Richard Hammond, the British television host who was seriously injured in a high-speed car crash in September, has undergone some interesting personality changes during his recovery. According to friends and family, Hammond has developed quite a taste for celery and eats it every day, whereas before his accident he hated the food. His memory may also have improved, since he now seems to know his ATM PIN number, which he didn't remember before. Neurologists claim such effects are extremely rare, and may "merit further study." While historical cases of head injuries have famously involved personality changes, memory is most often impaired, rather than strengthened. As long as he remembers how foolish it is to drive 300 miles per hour, he should be OK.

Geri Halliwell's 3-month old daughter Bluebell may have been physically abused while in the care of a temporary nanny. The former Spice Girl came home after a walk with friends to find the baby crying and with bruises on her arm. When Halliwell confronted the babysitter, who had been brought in by an agency until a permanent nanny can be found to care for Bluebell, she was given no explanation for her daughter's state. Halliwell reported the incident and it is being investigated. Bluebell is now safe and sound.

Ellen DeGeneres and her girlfriend, actress Portia de Rossi, suffered only minor injuries on Saturday after being involved in a car accident on Sunset Boulevard suspected to be caused by a drunk driver. Ellen's Porshe was stopped at a light when another Porsche slammed into the stopped Buick full of paparazzi behind them, causing the second car to hit the first. The 52-year-old woman driving the third car was described as "belligerent at the scene" and was arrested and charged on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Matthew Broderick broke his collarbone on Sunday after a fall from a horse. Broderick was vacationing in Ireland, where he and wife Sarah Jessica Parker have a home. The actor was treated and released from the hospital the same day. In 1987, Broderick was involved in an accident in Northern Ireland that resulted in two deaths, when the car he was driving with then girlfriend Jennifer Grey swerved off the road in the rain and struck another vehicle head-on.

Roger Ebert is in serious but stable condition after undergoing additional surgery following a June 16 procedure on a cancerous salivary gland growth. A burst blood vessel near the original surgery's site required an emergency surgery to repair. Ebert has had 3 previous cancer surgeries. He is expected to make a full recovery.

"The Rock" Johnson will undergo surgery for a leg injury that has halted production on Walt Disney Pictures' family comedy "The Game Plan." The film, about a football player who learns he has a daughter, was due to start filming in Boston on June 26, but The Rock's ruptured Achilles tendon has set production back indefinitely. The Rock was training for the role when the injury occured.
