Poor Rose. Her face looked kinda messed up recently and I made a comment about it, implying that she must have had bad plastic surgery. Well it turns out that she was in a car accident earlier this year which caused her glasses to be smashed into her face. And now she's gone and broken three toes after walking into a door. D'oh! Ouch. So, what about the drug rumors based on how rough she's looking lately? Well, as Hollywood Backwash diplomatically opines, "Rose has had way too much Botox after an unfortunate car accident".

Nicole Kidman was taken to an L.A. hospital after the Jaguar she was driving crashed early Thursday during a shooting of her new thriller "The Invasion". The accident occurred when the car was being towed by a camera rig that skidded while cutting a corner at about 45 mph, causing the car to hit a pole.
Kidman and 8 other cast & crew were was examined at Cedars-Sinai as a routine precaution and released 2 hours later sans injuries, according to her publicist.
"The stunt driver apparently went off course and hit a light post at about 1 a.m.," police Officer Karen Smith said.
The Oscar-winning actress, who stars as a Washington psychiatrist who unearths the origin of an alien epidemic, was trying to escape Tom Cruise zombielike characters on the hood of the Jaguar when the crash occurred, Olim said.

ZOMBIES. Between this and Will Smith filming an evacuation of a zombie-infested Manhattan right outside my window here at work, I am really getting my zombie movie fix here (for those of you who don't know, I am a zombie film fanatic). So apparently Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig are filming a zombie movie in Los Angeles and the stunt truck that was towing her car for a shot went out of control and her car hit a lamppost. The actress was not seriously injured, but she along with several others were taken to the hospital.

Richard Hammond, the British television host who was seriously injured in a high-speed car crash in September, has undergone some interesting personality changes during his recovery. According to friends and family, Hammond has developed quite a taste for celery and eats it every day, whereas before his accident he hated the food. His memory may also have improved, since he now seems to know his ATM PIN number, which he didn't remember before. Neurologists claim such effects are extremely rare, and may "merit further study." While historical cases of head injuries have famously involved personality changes, memory is most often impaired, rather than strengthened. As long as he remembers how foolish it is to drive 300 miles per hour, he should be OK.

Lydia Hearst was rear-ended in her car by a taxi as she was arriving at the Marquee for a VH1 party on Wednesday. It wasn't discovered until the next day, after a trip to the hospital, that she had suffered whiplash and a minor concussion.

23-year old model Audrey Lindvall (below in salmon pink, her sister Angela in hot pink) was hit and killed by a truck while riding her bicycle in her home state of Missouri on Wednesday. Audrey was the sister of model/actress Angela Lindvall. TMZ.com reports that Audrey lived in New York but was planning to move to Los Angeles to study ecological architecture. I didn't realize Angela Lindvall had a sister, but I've liked Angela ever since I saw CQ (arguably not the best movie and certainly not the best performance, but she looked fantastic in those Emma Peel jumpsuits). Then I read that she was a young mother and she and her husband lived on a tugboat in the Hudson River, and I knew she was cool. I'm sorry to hear she has lost her sister.
